Northumbria Branch History

The Northumbria branch of the Dry Stone Walling Association was formally created in April 1993 by a handful of keen local wallers. The branch membership is currently stable at around 30 members.

Each year the branch provides taster days for newcomers to walling and practice days for members wanting to brush up their skills. These practice/taster days are run by qualified walling instructors from the branch. The branch holds around 15 practice/taster days per year.
